Library highlights the importance of reading
Rand West City Libraries in association with Hillshaven Library visited Super Snuiters Pre-Primary to show preschoolers the importance of reading.

Librarian Lydia van Aswegan held a story time, spoke about the library and held an interactive dancing session with the learners on March 7. Every learner received a sweet treat from the library.
The purpose of visiting the preschools in and around our libraries is to tell our little ones about the library and the joy of reading.
This motivates all children from a young age to read. All our libraries in Rand West City have fun programmes which they initiate with their surrounding preschools,” Lydia said.
