On May 4, the Randfontein Herald reported on the bull terrier that was rescued from the side of the road by No More Tears Animal Rescue. After networking her image on social media, her owner came forward and said their dog got lost six years ago. Now, after her vet treatment, Bella is once again safe at home with her loving owners.

Clarisse Kruger, volunteer at No More Tears, stated Bella is doing very well. Her owner said she is sleeping a lot, but she is slowly but surely recovering. She is also starting to interact with their other dogs.

It’s still a long road to recovery, but she is incredibly happy to be back with her people. She is very spoiled and given so much love,” said Clarisse.

A member of the community also gifted Bella with a hamper, which was given to her on May 10 when she went home.
