Volunteer Clarisse Kruger said the organisation recently received a donation of blankets for the animals, but now urgently needs food for the dogs and cats in their care. She added that they also assist less fortunate members of the community who cannot afford food for their pets.
She noted that they currently have 30 animals in their care, most of which are medium to large dogs, which eat more than smaller dogs.
Donations can be dropped off at Spiffs Pet Grooming Parlour and Products in Randfontein or at the Engen Convenience Centre, Key West, in Krugersdorp. No More Tears can also collect donations.
