Three-vehicle collision leaves one seriously injured in Randfontein
Three vehicles were involved in a collision early this morning, whereafter one of the drivers sustained a serious head injury.
A crowd of onlookers gathered at the intersection of Homestead Avenue and Kenneth Road around 08:00 this morning, June 23, after a collision involving three vehicles.
The Randfontein Herald spoke to the driver of the white vehicle, who explained that he had been travelling along Homestead Avenue and was attempting to turn onto Kenneth Road when a grey BMW collided with the side of his car.

The BMW driver stated he had been travelling below the speed limit on Homestead Avenue with a green traffic light when he struck the left side of the white vehicle.
Following the impact, the white vehicle continued onto Homestead and grazed the front of a red BMW. The owner of the red BMW said he felt the impact but did not see the collision between the other two vehicles.
The grey BMW sustained significant front-end damage, while the red BMW had only minor damage and was able to be driven from the scene.

The driver of the white vehicle sustained a serious head injury and was taken to the hospital. The other two drivers sustained little to no injuries.
Members of First Help, the Community Policing Forum, and emergency services responded to the scene.
