Time2Rise Randfontein urges youth to step up and lead

Time2Rise Randfontein recently held its biggest youth bash, where they called the youth to serve a purpose.

Time2Rise Randfontein hosted its largest and most inclusive youth bash yet at Hoërskool Riebeeckrand, where local youth gathered to praise and worship.

Organiser Enrico van Aswegan stated that this event aimed to unite the community through Christ and to improve the environment.

“This was the largest and most inclusive praise and worship event we have held to date. So many people participated, and it was wonderful seeing so many youth changing their minds and lifestyles. I could see them grasping a new understanding of their life purpose and the important role they have to fulfil in our community. They have been called to a purpose,” Enrico said.

Pastor Innocent Vilane sings to the crowd.

He explained the importance of events like this, stating that the youth are the future leaders of families, churches and businesses. He added that the country can grow into success if the youth change what they believe and how they act.

“Our youth has grown up in an environment where so much has been destroyed, and it seems to be getting worse day by day. They experience so many challenges, and I can also see parents going through hardships. The youth has lost hope. But they have been called by God to rise and serve their purpose,” he explained.
