Help SPCA staff member after devastating fire

A SPCA animal assistant recently lost most of his belongings in a house fire, and the RandWest SPCA is pleading for help.

The RandWest SPCA’s animal assistant, Richard Ntshweu, experienced a house fire on November 8, and he now needs support to help recover from the disaster.

Luckily, manager inspector René van Straten confirmed Richard was not seriously injured. However, Richard lost most of his belongings in the fire, and the SPCA is pleading for help from the community.

René further noted he is still struggling to find his feet, especially since he has to care for a baby.

“Every bit of support counts, whether you donate items, share this story, or keep Richard in your thoughts and prayers,” René expressed.
