Youth mentorship camp heads to Cape Town

Through its annual Youth Mentorship Camp, the Myburgh Foundation hopes to guide young people towards brighter, more confident futures.

The Myburgh Foundation will be hosting another Youth Mentorship Camp, this time in Cape Town.

Founder and operations manager of the foundation, Randy Christian, explained that the annual camp aims to focus on the spiritual, psychological and mental well-being of young people, while also building confidence and leadership skills among youth from diverse backgrounds.

He noted that the camp will take place from September 26. However, the foundation has already begun working on various fundraising initiatives in the hope of securing sponsorship. They are also encouraging as many young people as possible to participate in the camp.

“We are delighted to be allowed to play a positive role in the lives of many children. We believe they will become God-fearing, productive members of society. Together we can be a beacon of light on their path,” said Christian.

Anyone seeking more information can contact the foundation’s youth care co-ordinator, Cindy, on 062 953 0232.
