Really?! Just read Beryl Bain’s letter. Short yet powerful.
Every morning I approach an intersection close to home. I have had to dodge cars, trucks and idiots.
I have seen large branded trucks (famous brands that I will photograph and shame) that skip this intersection, which my wife uses with my four-year-old daughter.
My dad also uses said intersection. Even this morning, a person in a silver car attempted to skip the stop sign. People here also have lives.
We have people that care and need us. And you, in your silver little car, tried to take my life; tried to take a bread winner’s life, because you thought you were more important. What if I drove a large truck and I decided to skip a stop sign? Your small, silver tin can of a car would have been crushed. Wake up.
I will bet a pinch of dry dung to a pound of sh!@ that you also have people that care about you. Do you want to be branded as a person that killed yourself or a parent? Think. That stop sign is there for a reason.
