Au revoir 2018, bonjour 2019!

The point I want to get across is that the year is drawing to a close and a new one is just around the corner.

From Team Herald, we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

But, as always, we would love to know what the Randfontein community will be up to this festive season.

Tell us whether you will be reaching out to the community, decorating your house with Christmas lights or whether you will be sharing a delicious festive season recipe with us.

Every year the community goes all out to decorate their houses with a variety of lights, so don’t be shy. As darkness falls, the lights go on and the town is transformed into something magical. Those who will be accepting the challenge for the first time, please tell us about it. Let’s light up the town again! Overall, the Herald would like to know what your plans are; for example, will you be spending some time at an old age home and a baby sanctuary, or handing out gifts to the less fortunate.
