I salute these young guys!

Now these three guys are exceptional. The musical genius embedded in them are astonishing.

It’ true that anyone can play music. Just hit the play button and let it rip. Know your audience, pick the correct genre and let them bounce. The play list should fit the occasion or mood, and there you go.

The guy behind the decks should have a deep feeling for the notes, melody and message in the tracks he wishes to convey to the peeps. The fact that everyone can play music for the masses is questioned … not everyone has that God-given ability to set the roof on fire. To satisfy the crowds with good-quality music is a high responsibility.

It unfortunately goes deeper than just hitting the play button.

See now, I’ve shown DJ Linx the ropes on different genres; what, how and when to lay it out. It’s amazing how he surpasses me with the knowledge of sound. He is able to combine, mix, create his own sounds and produce it with world-class precision; to create a track in minutes, clean it up and let it rip.

I met Vaugue, the Chef, a while ago and soon enough realised he got mad skill when it comes to creating and producing music. An enormous sense of rhythm, able to start from scratch, put the melody together, and finish it off with tons of authenticity; creates beats with finesse and combining it with vocals.

Last but not least, a dude that needs introduction. My work buddy is a beat-maker, producer, sound engineer and vocalist all in one. Created some beats that were stolen by these high-profile artists. But he never worries, he puts out enormous amounts of content every week. With a makeshift studio in his home, he’s helping aspiring artists reach their dreams. With his 7Digits production company, he is putting in the work.

Yeah guys, I salute these three dreamers. These talented young men are doing it, believing it and are determine to make it in the industry. What I’ve noticed is, it’s not so much about recognition and the cash that go with the fame.

They’re doing it for the love of it.

I salute them.
