The Portfolio Committee on Sport and Recreation wishes the national football team, Bafana Bafana, well for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) starting Saturday (17 January) until 04 February.
The Committee is impressed with the manner in which Bafana Bafana performed in their preparation games for AFCON and the Committee is confident that the national team will give their best performance.
South Africa’s first game for the tournament will be against Algeria on Monday (19 January 2015) at 9pm in Equatorial Guinea.
