Get fit on a obstacle course
Each participant received a medal for completing the tough course.
On Saturday, 5 August, the Zero 2 Summit club had their first public event at their obstacle course.
Local athlete Mandie Landsberg was at the top of her game and the community could not wait to meet her.
“This was my first public event as an Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) athlete. Zero 2 Summit invited me to attend their big opening. I was amazed to see how many youngsters were excited to climb, jump, run and get dirty. Not even the inflatable slide could keep them from taking part in this experience,” said Mandie.

More than 200 people took part in the obstacle course, with men, women and children of all ages challenging one another, with faces that were lit up from the get go.
Each participant received a medal for completing the tough course.
The obstacle course can get any one active, fit and healthy, but it was not as easy as it looked. Participant Juandré Voster told the Herald that the course took some real effort, but it was real fun.
“Getting dirty in the open air is so much fun, everyone should try this sport,” said Mandie.
The opening was a big success and new members were eager to start their new fitness journey.
