Super Tigers Football Academy holds fruitful meeting with parents

Greenhills Super Tigers Football Academy roped in parents to a training session recently to get them actively involved in their children's progress.

The Greenhills Super Tigers Football Academy recently hosted a meeting and training session for parents whose young boys are affiliated with the club.

This was at the Greenhills Stadium and an effort to engage parents with the progress of their children, as well as grant them the opportunity to see what their children are made of on the field.

Youngsters were eager to show their parents what they were made of on the training field.

“The purpose was to rope in parents to our sessions and get them actively involved in their children’s progress,” said coach Bongani Duiker.

“We also had some fruitful discussions about their children’s development and the academy. We also wanted them to tell us whether or not they feel that the strategies we are employing are working for them and their children. The academy also needs sponsorships in different areas, so we also wanted to engage with them on that matter as well,” said Bongani.

He added that the team is determined to reach great heights and that they train three times a week to ensure they stay on top of their game.

The academy consists of a junior and senior team as well as those who fall in the U7, U12 and U15 categories.
