Capped and crushing it: Randfontein dominates Wanderers by 150 runs

Randfontein’s premier side opened their season in style, crushing Wanderers by 150 runs after a powerful batting display and a dominant bowling attack.

In addition to their prestigious capping ceremony, the Randfontein Cricket Club’s (RCC) premier team delivered a performance of note against Wanderers Cricket Club, claiming an emphatic 150-run victory.

The capping ceremony, held at Driftwood Lapa, was a proud moment for the club, and according to the club’s spokesperson, Marsha Coetzer, the premier team received their Premier League caps.

The evening was made extra special with former Proteas cricketer Alviro Petersen as the guest speaker, sharing words of motivation and encouragement ahead of the new season.
