R’fontein Manchester United U17 edge Afrivilla Pride in five-goal thriller
Randfontein Manchester United U17 held their nerve to edge Afrivilla Pride 3–2 in an entertaining Randfontein Local Football Association clash.
Randfontein Manchester United U17 produced a determined performance to secure a hard-fought 3–2 victory over Afrivilla Pride U17 at Greenhills Stadium on July 18 in a Randfontein Local Football Association fixture.
Both teams showed attacking intent from the opening whistle, with Afrivilla Pride making the brighter start. The visitors earned an early penalty after one of their attackers was brought down inside the box, but the spot kick was comfortably saved by the Manchester goalkeeper.

Afrivilla Pride continued to apply pressure and eventually broke the deadlock. Manchester United responded well, however, finding an equaliser soon afterwards to restore parity.

The home side took the lead before halftime with a second goal, but Afrivilla Pride hit back after the break to level the score and set up a tense finish.
