Randfontein Manchester United U17 produced a determined performance to secure a hard-fought 3–2 victory over Afrivilla Pride U17 at Greenhills Stadium on July 18 in a Randfontein Local Football Association fixture.

Both teams showed attacking intent from the opening whistle, with Afrivilla Pride making the brighter start. The visitors earned an early penalty after one of their attackers was brought down inside the box, but the spot kick was comfortably saved by the Manchester goalkeeper.

Afrivilla Pride continued to apply pressure and eventually broke the deadlock. Manchester United responded well, however, finding an equaliser soon afterwards to restore parity.

The home side took the lead before halftime with a second goal, but Afrivilla Pride hit back after the break to level the score and set up a tense finish.

With the match finely poised, Manchester United kept their composure and netted the decisive third goal. Despite late pressure from Afrivilla Pride, the home side defended resolutely to claim all three points.
