Crime Line released photographs and information on Wednesday of Gauteng and Pretoria’s most notorious suspects involved in various bank and cash-in-transit robberies.

Photographs of Gauteng and Pretoria’s most notorious suspects wanted in connection to over 30 bank-related crimes in the country was on Wednesday released by Crime Line, the Hawks and the South African Banking Risk Information Centre (Sabric).

“We hope that we can capture these men and prevent them from committing further crimes that endanger the lives of innocent people,” said Crime Line. Members of the community who know or recognise these suspects are urged to contact Crime Line.

“Members of the public can either send a detailed anonymous tip-off to Crime Line’s SMS number, 32211, or call Crime Stop on 08600-1011. Information can also be submitted to the website, www.crimeline.co.za,” Crime Line added.

Sabric is appealing to bank customers to refrain from carrying large sums of cash on them in order to lessen their risk of falling victim to violent attacks and robberies. They have released tips and advice to prevent robberies on their website www.sabric.co.za.

“As we head into the festive season we need to be even more vigilant and careful, as crime traditionally spikes over this period,” Crime Line said.
