World’s most venomous spider causes family to flee

A family found a deadly spider with their bananas and fled the house.

A ‘murderous’ spider chased a family out of their home when it hid behind a bunch of bananas.

After the London family returned home from the supermarket, they found the Brazilian wandering spider with its sac of eggs while unpacking the fruit. According to reports, the father dropped the fruit in a fruit bowl, which trapped the spider’s leg in the process.

Its leg was ripped off as it tried to escape.

A pest expert killed the sac of eggs by putting it in the freezer. He also managed to trap the toxic spider under a plastic container before removing it from the home.

According to the Guinness Book of World Records, the spider’s venom is most toxic in the world.

Symptoms include paralysis, edema (abnormal accumulation of fluid in the interstitium), inflammation of the throat and lungs, salivation, convulsions and more priapism (a persistent and usually painful long-lasting erection in men).

“Children under 10 are at the greatest risk of death by Brazilian wandering spider bite. Regardless of age, if bitten, one should seek medical attention immediately,” Livescience.com warned.
