Three women on the run after raping a man

Police are looking for three women who are believed to have raped a 21-year-old man on Sunday.

Three women are believed to have raped a young man in Diepsloot, police said this week.

Spokesperson Warrant Officer Daniel Mavimbela said the women accosted the 21-year-old man at a tuck shop in extension 12 on Sunday after pretending to be lost.

“They asked the victim for directions and suddenly one of the suspects pointed a firearm at the man.”

They forced him into the back seat of their white Toyota Tazz.

“The suspects drove away with him and parked on the side of the R114 main road. The man was forced to have sexual intercourse with one of the suspects at gun point. The man was left on the side of the road.”

A rape docket had been opened.

Mavimbela warned members of the public to be cautious when approached by strangers.

He also pleaded to the public to come forward with any information they might have that could lead to the arrest of the suspects.

Anyone with information on the matter could call Lt-Col Lucia Madinginye on 082-568-4589.
