Waterkloof Ridge water to be back soon

Water supply in Waterkloof Ridge could be restored soon after a leakage at the Carina Reservoir on Wednesday.

Water supply to Waterkloof Ridge will be restored soon after it was interrupted on Wednesday, Tshwane metro spokesperson Selby Bokaba said.

He said a water leak was discovered at the Carina Reservoir on Wednesday night.

He said the maintenance team had to shut down the reservoir pumps overnight and faced the difficulty of tracing the leakage.

“The leak was eventually traced, which appeared to have been underneath a storm water pipe. The maintenance team is currently busy with the repair work and the problem should be resolved soon,” Bokaba said by noon.
