Eskom announced earlier on Friday that stage one load shedding will be implemented. However, the powerhouse released a statement saying load shedding stage two will be implemented from 10:00 until 22:00.
This is due to a further shortage of generation capacity and to build up reserves to lessen the impact of load shedding before the weekend is in full swing.
