POWER UPDATE: Stage 1 load shedding implemented
Stage 1 load shedding will continue until 22:00 on Friday
Eskom announced that Stage 1 has been implemented from 10:00 until 22:00 on Friday.
Any unexpected changes on the vulnerable and constrained power system could lead to a change in the stage at short notice.

People across South Africa are urged to cut back on excessive electrcity use in order to take some strfain off the grid.

Like most other days, Eskom has announced that the load shedding prognosis for Thursday remains high, depending on the performance of the power plant.
This comes after a few days of Stage 1 load shedding in the evenings.
