Fashion lovers wanting to do their part for a good cause could book their tickets for Fashion 4 Compassion, a fashion show to be held in aid of Hospice Sungardens/Mamelodi. Consisting of two fashion shows, the first being a high tea at 11:00 and the second a cocktail event at 15:00 on Sunday 9 August, the show will feature well-known designers Gert van de Merwe, Jenni Button Philosophy, Fred Eboka and Christa B, Lise Designs. Catherine’s Collections will also be showcasing their latest creations accompanied by guest artist Nedine Blom.
Former Mr South Africa Steven Segal will be master of ceremonies.
Tickets are available from www.itickets.co.za and sell for R450 per person and include eats and drinks.
Fashion 4 Compassion will be held in support of Sungardens hospice who cares for approximately 350 patients through home-based care services supported by an in-patient unit based in Lynnwood.
Sungardens also provides psychosocial support to families dealing with the loss of a loved one.
Their services are free of charge and no patient is ever turned away.
