Pedestrian killed while crossing highway
One died, another injured when they tried to cross a busy highway on foot, Saturday night.
A 34-year-old pedestrian was killed on Saturday night while trying to cross the N14 highway, close to the Jean Avenue off-ramp in Centurion.
Two pedestrians were run over by a vehicle when they tried to cross the highway.
Emer-G-Med spokesperson Braam Kruger said both men were crossing the road when the accident happened.
“The one man was declared dead on the scene and the other was transported to a nearby hospital for minor injuries,” he said.
