Robbers return owner’s car
Robbers return the victim’s vehicle following a house robbery.
Four men have returned a car to a man which they stole in Soshanguve, Block HH on Thursday morning.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Lolo Mangena said a 39-year-old man’s home was robbed of several items, including his vehicle.
“The complainant said he was asleep when four unknown men entered his home in the middle of the night. He woke up with four armed men pointing firearms at him,” he said.
Mangena said the men tied both the victim’s hands and feet before ransacking his house.
“The suspects took two plasma TV’s, a projector and a laptop. The stolen items were loaded into the victim’s Honda Ballade. The suspects then fled the scene with the Honda Ballade,” Mangena said.
He said the vehicle was returned a few minutes later and left in front of the victim’s house with front doors wide open.
“Nothing was taken when the vehicle was brought back. The victim said the suspects came back and dropped off his vehicle before fleeing with their other two vehicles,” Mangena said.
A case of house robbery was opened at Soshanguve police station. The four men are still at large.
