A 12-year-old girl is in a serious condition after she was wounded during a shooting in Germiston on Sunday morning.
The girl, her mother and another man were wounded at a residential complex.
Details around the shooting were still being investigated by police.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said the three wounded people were in a critical condition.
“After paramedics stabilised the injured at the scene they airlifted the child to a hospital in Alberton while the other patients were transported by ambulance to hospital,” he said.
