Crime stats in Centurion
The national crime statistics were released this week. Take a look here to see what it looks like in Centurion.
Several surprises are contained in the latest crime statistics released at Parliament earlier in the week.
The figures compare crime levels in the 12 months until April this year with those of the previous year.
Lyttelton police station in Centurion reported a decrease in attempted murders of 22.2% while Wierdabrug police station saw a staggering 63% increase in hijackings.
Erasmia reported an 85.7% increase in sexual offences whereas Olievenhoutbosch police station saw a 7.5% decline in murders.
