Businessman guns down two robbers
Four men sought to rob a Chinese businessman in Mamelodi, but two of them were shot dead and the other two were arrested.

A Mamelodi-based Chinese businessman killed two men who tried to rob his shop in Denneboom recently.
Four robbers entered the shop and held staff at gunpoint.
“While holding staff hostage, the men packed an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes into a bag,” said police spokesperson Captain Johannes Maheso on Tuesday.
As the robbers tried to escape, the businessman gunned down two of them. The other two were arrested in the shop.
Maheso said two guns were found on the scene suspected to belong to the robbers.
“The two suspects, Kunene Mandla Justice (49) and Mlungisi Frank Sindane (25), appeared in the Mamelodi Magistrate’s Court on Friday, and were remanded in custody,” Maheso said.
CCTV video footage later emerged on the Crime Air Network Initiative’s twitter page showing the shooting.
The robbers appeared to be running after they were shot and then collapsed.
