Man shot dead in Danville
A man was shot dead in Danville when occupants of a Toyota Hilux apparently thought he was going to hijack them.

A man in his late thirties was shot dead in Danville on Friday, paramedics said.
Best Care Ambulance Services spokesperson Xander Loubser said paramedics tried all they could to resuscitate the man.
“Eventually we got a pulse, but he died on the scene shortly afterwards.”
The man was apparently walking towards a Toyota Hilux bakkie. Its occupants apparently thought he was going to hijack them and they fired an undisclosed number of shots.
