Empty security money box found
Empty money box found in West Park on Saturday morning.
An empty money box was discovered early on Saturday morning, in the west of Pretoria.
Area Patrol spokesperson Hansie Oosthuizen said the box was found by pedestrians who informed the police of the discovery. It was found near the Katdoring apartments in West Park.
“It appears to be similar to the box used in cash-in-transit vehicles to transport money picked up from ATM’s,” Oosthuizen said.
Police have taken it to the Pretoria-West police station for further investigation.
