Two remain in custody after court appearance
Two found in possession of drugs, stolen goods, remain in custody.

Two men found in possession of drugs and stolen goods in Salvokop on Friday morning, are still in custody after appearing in court on Monday.
Central police spokesperson Sergeant Ann Poortman said the men were still in custody in the Kgosi Mampuru II prison.
“The men had their first court appearance on Monday, and remain in custody awaiting their next court appearance in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court.
“Their next court date is still to be confirmed,” Poortman said.
The two men were arrested in possession of drugs and stolen goods, early on Friday morning, in Salvokop in a stop and search operation by police.
Last week, Central police station’s Captain Augustinah Selepe had said a 25-year old Tanzanian man was arrested for dealing in drugs.
“Numerous plastic bags and boxes of matches full of dagga were found at his premises.”
Selepe said the large amount of dagga estimated to be worth R12 000 was stashed in compressor bags.
“The other man was arrested in possession of stolen CDs and DVDs estimated to be worth R8 000.”
“The operation was jointly conducted by the police, Tshwane metro police, department of defence and correctional services,” said Selepe.
