Police in Wonderboompoort are hunting for a man linked to murder, hijacking and armed robbery.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Ann Poortman said the man believed to be aged between 25 and 35 robbed a man at gun point on 10 February this year.
“When the victim was pulling up in the driveway of his Park Town estates home, he [alleged suspect] approached the victim and robbed him off his cellphone, cash and car keys,” Poortman said.
As he was about to drive off, an eyewitness pressed a panic button and the man jumped out of the car and ran away.
“Two blocks away, he tried to hijack another vehicle where he shot and killed a second victim.”
The fugitive was said to be of medium weight, 1.65 metres tall and has two scratch marks on his right cheek.
He was wearing a green t-shirt under an overall jacket which had Johnson printed on it and tan pants.
Anyone with information on the matter could call Detective-Sergeant Putter on 012-335-2811 or call the Crimestop number 0800-10111 or send an sms to 32211.
