Oscar Pistorius released early
The Paralympian was released a day before his anticipated set date.

Oscar Pistorius was secretly released on parole on Monday night.
The Paralympian was set to be released under correctional supervision on Tuesday after a reviewed decision by the parole board last week.
According to a reliable source, the athlete was escorted out of the prison on Monday around 20:00.
He was dressed in a suit.
Correctional services spokesperson Manelisi Wolela confirmed the release.
“The local management of Kgosi Mampuru II Correctional Centre has confirmed that Oscar Pistorius was placed under correctional supervision tonight [Monday].”
Pistorius would be serving the remainder of his five year sentence under house arrest at his uncle’s Waterkloof home.
The parole board met in Pretoria for the second time last Thursday to review the decision of Pistorius’ release.
His parole conditions include continued psychotherapy and prohibitions in line with the Firearms Control Act Section 103.
Numerous attempts for comment from Pistorius’ spokeperson Anneliese Burgess failed.
