Police and community patrollers arrest four in undercover operation on Tuesday afternoon.

Four men were arrested in an undercover police operation in Pretoria Central on Tuesday morning.

Central police spokesperson captain Augustinah Selepe said the four were arrested for dealing in drugs.

“Three Tanzanian males aged between 24 and 35 were arrested on the corner of Johannes Ramokhoase and Lillian Ngoyi streets after selling drugs to undercover police officers and community patrollers,” said Selepe.

She said the fourth was arrested in Bloed Street.

The four men will appear in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court soon.

Selepe said 77 people had been arrested on drug charges in the past few weeks.
