Three men arrested for dagga possession
“Police acted swiftly after they were tipped off by an anonymous source that someone was delivering bags of dagga to the dealer.”
Three men were arrested for dealing in drugs in Eersterust on Tuesday evening.
Police spokesperson Constable Connie Moganedi said a tip-off led police to a house where the drugs were believed to have originated from.
“Police acted swiftly after they were tipped off by an anonymous source that someone was delivering bags of dagga to the dealer,” she said.
Several bags of dagga were seized from the house, amounting to a street value of R6 000, while R1 100 in cash was seized from the men.
The men, between the ages of 27 and 45, are expected to appear in the Hatfield Magistrate’s Court soon.
