Angry Ramokgopa supporters loot shops
Violent protests escalated on Tuesday as protesters looted various shops around Pretoria.
A group of protesters started looting shops at Attlyn Shopping Centre in Atteridgeville after violence continued in parts of Pretoria on Tuesday.

Protesters ransacked the Nike Clearance Store at the mall, emptying hundreds of boxes of new takkies.

Some residents ransacked shops owned by foreign nationals near the Kalafong Hospital.
Another Mamelodi group looted shops along Tsamaya Road close to where 22 buses were torched on Monday night.

Chaos and unrest gripped Pretoria this week as violent protesters took to the streets after the ANC announced Thoko Didiza as the mayoral candidate for the upcoming local poll. Chanting #NoSputlaNoVote, residents demand mayor Kgosientso Ramokgopa to remain for another term.
