Two caught for dagga
Vispol members found five bags of dagga inside a vehicle during a patrol.
Two men were arrested for being in possession of dagga in Temba on Wednesday.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant Sarah Lesabane said the two men were caught with dagga weighing 72kg.
“Vispol members were patrolling the Kopanong complex when they spotted a white Toyota Condor driving around the complex. They stopped and searched the vehicle and five bags of dagga were found,” she said.
Lesabane said the two men, aged between 18 and 29, were arrested on the scene and taken to Temba police station.
“The suspects will appear in the Moretele Magistrate’s Court on Friday for possession of dagga.”
