Burnt body found in the graveyard
Police investigations are underway after residents discovered a burnt body in a cemetery.
The body of a 23-year-old man was found in a cemetery in Section B3, Mamelodi West, on Sunday morning.
The man’s body was burned beyond recognition and residents were shocked to discover this gruesome discovery in the graveyard.
The body was taken for a post post-mortem examination by paramedics to determine the cause of death.
Police spokesperson Captain Johannes Maheso said an investigation was underway.
“The police are still busy with the investigation,” said Maheso.
