NATIONAL NEWS: ‘Hijacker’ wielding toy gun shot in leg
A suspect was injured when a driver of a vehicle opened fire on him an his two accomplices after attempting to hijack the motorist.
A driver opened fire on three suspects as they tried to hijack his bakkie using a toy gun in Sunninghill, Sandton, The Citizen
The incident took place on the corner of Rivonia and Naivasha roads in Sunninghill on the afternoon of July 4.
Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to the shooting and found that the driver shot one of the suspects in the leg.
Emer-G-Med said the suspects fled on foot but members of the public subdued the injured suspect.
