A man went missing in Pretoria Moot on Monday morning.

Ernst Hendrik van der Merwe (43) was last seen outside his workplace in Johan Heyns Drive.

He had a backpack over his shoulder.

Van der Merwe was wearing black jeans, a red and grey jacket and takkies at the time of his disappearance.

The missing person’s organisation, The Pink Ladies said Van der Merwe was of average build with greying black hair.

He could also be identified by a rose tattoo on his left shoulder.

Harris said Van der Merwe had family in the Free State and a son in Secunda, Mpumalanga but he could not be found there.

The Moot police urged anyone with information on Van der Merwe’s whereabouts to contact Warrant Officer Pieterse on 012-353-5300 or the Pink Ladies on 072-214-7439.
