Three caught in the east
“Two suspects fled on foot when they noticed our security officers approaching the shop.”

Three men committing fraud were caught and handed over to police in Monument Park on Tuesday.
Hi-Risk security firm spokesperson, Arthur Crewe said their officers received a call that three men were committing fraud at a Vodacom shop around 16:30.

Crewe said the same men were believed to have attempted to target the shop twice before in one week.
“Two men fled on foot when they noticed our officers approaching the shop.”
The third man was in a white Toyota Corolla when he also fled.
Crewe said their officers quickly caught the two who tried to run away.
“Another officer driving a security vehicle caught the third man a few blocks away.”
Crewe said the men were found in possession of stolen bank cards.
“The men also had numerous cellphones and could not explain where they got them from.”
He said the vehicle they were using was presumably stolen as the details of the plates did not match the vehicle.
The men were handed over to Brooklyn police.
Brooklyn police were still to confirm the arrest at time of publishing.
