A security officer was shot and wounded during a robbery at Menlyn office park on Friday afternoon.
Netcare 911 spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said according to reports from the scene, the officer was trying to help a woman who was being robbed when he got shot.

“The exact detail as to what happened will form part of a police investigation,” she said.
Mathe said paramedics stabilised the officer on the scene before he was transported to hospital.
