Woodhill college obtained outstanding results in the 2016 matric exams.
Fifty-eight candidates were entered for the Independent Examination Board national senior certificate examinations.
The school achieved a 100 percent pass rate, 97 percent bachelor degree pass, 20 first class passes and 91 subject distinctions.
Jarod Swart is Woodhill College’s top achiever for 2016 with seven distinctions.
His subjects included IT, mathematics, physical science, and life orientation.
He is planning a future in computer engineering and will be studying at the University of Stellenbosch.
His goal is to gather the skills necessary to make his mark in the world.
Tavita Camara achieved five distinctions and her subjects included life orientation, business studies, dramatic arts and history.
She is hoping to own her own business in the future.
Francois Marais also got five distinctions.
His subjects included accounting, geography, mathematics and physical science.
He will be studying actuarial science at the University of Pretoria.
Sabrina Naudé achieved five distinctions.
Her subjects included physical sciences, life orientation, history, and mathematics.
She plans on studying medicine at Wits or Tuks.
