Abbotts College Pretoria East achieved a 100-percent pass rate with 99 percent of candidates eligible for tertiary studies.
The college had a total of 105 full-time learners and 66 part-time ones in the 2016 matric class.
A total of 98 full-time learners obtained distinctions.
A full 68 percent of the learners received a Bachelor degree pass, while 31 percent of the matriculants achieved a diploma pass.
Afrikaans first additional language, maths, French, Portuguese and tourism were subjects learners achieved most distinctions in.
The top learners were Sun Yang, Savanah Hayward, Janale van den Berg and Amber Taylor.
Yang achieved an average of 83,87 percent and five distinctions.
She achieved distinctions in Afrikaans first additional language, life orientation, history, geography and physical science.
Yang wants to study at the University of Stellenbosch and hopes to go into a career in education or geography.
Hayward achieved an average of 83,42 percent, and walked away with five distinctions in: Afrikaans first additional language, maths, life orientation, history and life sciences.
Hayward wants to study at an international university.
Taylor achieved an average of 80,5 percent and four distinctions.
She achieved distinctions in Afrikaans first additional language, dramatic arts, life orientation and physical science.
Taylor wants to take a gap year to travel Europe.
Van den Berg achieved an average of 81,57 percent and three distinctions.
She achieved distinctions in Afrikaans first additional language, maths and life orientation.
Van den Berg wants to study dentistry at the University of Pretoria.
