Makhosini also performed well in the final matric exams achieving a 88.48 percent pass rate.
For the past five years, Makhosini has been one of the best top five performing schools in the Tshwane district.
The best learner for Makhosini for 2016 is Khumo Keboabetswe Masela who obtained five distinctions in
maths, physical science, geography, life orientation and English.
The second best student is Tumelo Ditle with four distinctions in economics, life orientation, tourism, and English.
The third best students are Siyabonga Loka and Innocent Ramagaze who both obtained three distinctions in physics, maths and English; and tourism, maths literacy and English respectively.
