Kasi flavour tournament ignites local townships
The tournament kicked off this past weekend and will incorporate Mamelodi, Ga-Rankuwa and other Gauteng townships.

The inaugural Flava Yase Kasi soccer tournament kicked off this past weekend.
The five-aside township tournament will be held in Pretoria’s Mamelodi and Ga-Rankuwa, Ekurhuleni’s Katlehong and Tembisa and Soweto with the winning team in each region pocketing R10 000.
The Soweto Gold Superior Golden Lager sponsored tournament encourages freedom of expression and will encompass a strong dash of showmanship in skills and tricks.
Each region will boast an ambassador “chosen not only for their impressive careers but also for their commitment to nurturing and guiding their younger up and coming brothers” to assist the teams.
Local soccer legends Daniel “Mambush” Mudau and Lucky Lekgwathi will be ambassadors for Mamelodi and Ga-Rankuwa respectively while Doctor Khumalo will represent the sponsor.
The tournament will run to July.
