Atteridgeville man wanted for murder and hijacking
"He was due to attend a court hearing but fled before court proceedings could begin."
The police are looking for an Atteridgeville man who showed up for his court appearance on charges of murder and hijacking, only to disappear again.
Balty Tebogo Mathabatha (28) was due to attend a court hearing in late November last year, but fled the scene before court proceedings could begin.
This was according to police spokesperson Constable Sibongile Huma.

Mathabatha was out on bail at the time.
A case of hijacking and murder was opened against him in January 2018.
“We appeal to the community to alert the police if they have any information about Mathabatha’s whereabouts,” said Huma.
“If you happen to see him, do not approach or try to attempt to capture him as he is very dangerous and always armed.”
