The security company, whose cash-in-transit vehicle was robbed on Tuesday afternoon in Laudium, has offered a R1-million reward for information regarding the incident.
Company spokesperson Flavia de Cillia confirmed the reward.
SBV Services has called on anyone with information on the robbery to notify it immediately.
The company’s early warning robbery hotline is active 24/7.

Members of the public were urged to provide information to SBV’s investigations team, the company said in a statement.
“All callers can be assured confidentiality would be maintained,” the statement read.
The cash-in-transit van had just pulled into the parking lot at Laudium Square after collecting cash from a bank when it was attacked.
About five suspects armed with a rifle and pistols approached the van which had four security guards inside, according to police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Katlego Mogale.
“One security guard was pistol-whipped and another sustained injuries to his elbow when he fell jumping out of the vehicle.”
Both injured guards were taken to the nearest hospital for treatment.
An undisclosed amount of cash, three handguns belonging to the security guards and a rifle was taken before the robbers fled the scene in a silver Toyota Hilux.

Shots were reportedly fired, Mogale said.
SBV group CEO Mark Barrett said the company did not tolerate any violence, crime and threats to its staff.
“We will tirelessly persist in our efforts to mitigate cash-in-transit crime together with the authorities,” Barrett said.
“We will ensure that the perpetrators involved in CIT attacks are brought to justice. SBV’s employees are trained to follow standard operating procedures, to avoid attacks and to ensure the safety of civilians.”
