Two injured in north accident

"Two men were found to have sustained moderate injuries and chemical exposure when two buckets of paint broke open in the car."

Two persons were injured when a car and a paint truck collided on Sefako Makgatho Drive on Monday morning.

According to Netcare 911 spokesperson Shawn Herbst, the accident happened around 08:20 Monday morning on the corners of Sefako Makgatho Drive and Koorsboom Street in Sinoville.

Reports from the scene indicate that a light motor vehicle and a heavy motor vehicle were involved in the collision.

Fire and Rescue Services had to use the ‘Jaws of Life’ hydraulic rescue tools to free the patients from the car, Herbst said.
