NEWSFLASH: Two die in small plane crash near Akasia

"The cause of the plane crash is unknown at this point."

Two men died in a small plane crash near the Hartbeespoort Dam, west of Akasia on Saturday.

ER24 spokesperson Ross Campbell said the Search & Rescue team, as well as the South African Police Services, were already on the scene when paramedics arrived at 12:30.

“The bodies of two men were found in the wreckage – they showed no signs of life and were declared dead on arrival,” Campbell said.

“The cause of the plane crash is unknown at this point; however, the authorities are on site for investigations.”
