SPCA hosts successful fundraiser at new Barnyard Theatre

People enjoyed the Rhythm of the Night Fundraiser at the new Barnyard Theatre.

On Sunday the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) had a successful fundraiser at the new and improved Barnyard Theatre at Menlyn Shopping Centre.

The fundraiser that consisted of Tshwane SPCA selling tickets to the public to watch the Rhythm of the Night show, was a big hit with many smiling patrons arriving at the new Barnyard Theatre, ready for the show.

“We do many of these fundraisers in a year, luckily Barnyard has been very helpful towards the SPCA, allowing us to run this fundraiser through them. 90 tickets were sold through the SPCA, and the proceeds of that will go directly to helping our animals,” says Riaan Visser, fundraiser for the SPCA.

All attendees were allowed to take their own food and drinks into the theatre or were given the opportunity to order from the menu.

The new Barnyard Theatre has now reopened in Menlyn, seating a total of 400 patrons.
